5. I would argue it was the Ethos you already had, you just realized it!
So many good thoughts in here. YES Peregrino has helped me! Hard to say how--but it feels like you're a few steps ahead of me on a similar journey, so it's nice to look up and see a different bit of the trail revealed.
1. I really love listening to peoples’ life stories and conversion stories are even better! I am in awe when I think about how many people are in the world and how many stories are out there, just mixing around together. It has been awesome to read about yours.
I have really admired your dedication and productivity of writing so many essays with a busy schedule of a full time job and 4 little kids. More is possible to me looking at your example.
5. Both titles have the same meaning for sure. I like the Latin. It is the universal church language. This guero feels left out with the Spanish haha. Perigrino is OG tho... maybe the new one as a subtitle?
I won't change the name of the publication as much as the guiding principle of it. But the idea of having In Statu Viae as a subtitle makes sense. Also, don't feel left out. The only reason I went with Spanish was because Peregrinus was taken already.
Doing your best with what you have is probably a step in the right direction, keep going.
Fozzie Bear has a special place in my heart.
Less is more but more is more, I love that. Have you heard of addition by subtraction? Remove that which hinders you, add more of the good stuff.
Yeah, I can see the active/passive at play. I have a devotion to Blessed Solanus Casey, he was a capuchin friar who spent about 40 years of his life as the porter of the friary, and people would line up to chat and pray with him. A multitude of miracles started happening around him, through his intercession, even today. He was considered a contemplative in action, and I think I identify with that approach to life. Yes, I like silence and contemplation but I also need to move and be in the world.
I think this realization of the, let's call it tweaked ethos of the publication will be like bumpers in a bowling lane. I can see how I can write more about pilgrimage as a way of life, instead of being more scattered.
Who isn't a fan of the Muppets? You gotta love 'em.
I like those thoughts; I'd heard some of it put that way before, but as a convert as well, it's good to hear this again.
Psychopaths, that's who.
Are you a convert to Catholicism?
I am! I was raised Pentecostal but came over officially in Easter 2016.
It's a long story. :)
Nice, welcome home.
Thanks! I've felt like I've come home, I really have.

God bless you!
Thanks for that, Scoot. If there's anything I learned from High School Musical is that we're all in this together.

Thank you for your kind words, Ben.
