This reminds me of the Boaty McBoatface debacle. So I am going to say Horsey McHorseface!

In virginia there’s a concert venue called wolf trap which has both conventional seating and picnic seating. Ive been a couple times, at least once with family and at least once with just friends. its always a lot of fun and also very stressful. Thanks for reminding me!

Also, ive slways wanted to name an animal “crambles” and i couldnt tell you why. Race horse names are always unique and slmost like substack names. Peasant Times-Dispatch would be a great horse name LOL

Oh my gosh. Live music outdoor events like that live inside some of my favorite and most relaxing childhood memories! 😊

Hey, so is it "shave ice" or "shaved ice"? All my life, I thought it was the latter, but in the last few years I've only heard people use the former. Poor lil' grammar brain is churning...

I think it's two different things. Shaved ice vs. Hawaiian shave ice.

Congrats on finishing 40 before 40 - that’s a huge accomplishment and you deserve all the asking you want!

Thanks for the margarita recipe! Our son has his First Communion this Sunday, and we’re going to have tamales for the reception (Cinco de Mayo is a great excuse to have tamales). I was wondering what the proportions were in the recipe.

Any day is a good day for tamales in my opinion. Congratulations on your son receiving his first communion!

Is the Kentucky Derby on the same day as Cinco de Mayo? Every since I moved to SC I hear a lot more about derbys (ies?), which is a low bar since no one I knew cared about it.

Sadly, I won't have any time to celebrate because we have First Communions this Sunday.

The Derby is on Saturday if I recall correctly. I think you should have a Margarita once you're done with all the first communions on Sunday. Es justo y necesario.

1. Is 40 the midpoint? Then I'm a couple years away yet. :)

2. I know she did "Goldeneye" from the James Bond movie, and I love that song. So yes, in that respect I am!

3. There was one a few years back called Sainthood. I liked that one; sadly, he didn't finish or even get close as I recall. Going for Sainthood is harder than it looks.
