1. Many times. The Catholic cemetery where most of my closely-related deceased relatives are buried is just down the street from me, so we stop by to pray for their souls throughout the year. During the Octave of All Saints (today through 11/8), we visit a Catholic cemetery (usually the closest one) every day to pray for the dead.

1. Yes. I love visiting cemeteries to pray for the dead. It’s both a way of giving back and doing one of the Spiritual Works of Mercy.

2. Ego.

3. I’ve seen bits and pieces of it.

1. Yes! My great grandmother and my grand-uncle who died as a baby from hydrocephaly (now curable, but at the time not) were buried near me in NOVA. I tried to visit them about quarterly, but often less than that. It was always very beautiful and meaningful. There were family friends buried nearby--people I didn't know personally but whose names I recognized from favorable mentions in family lore. Notably my great grandfather is not buried nearby--he scorned my great grandmother and ran off to europe to start a new family. He's buried in a protestant cemetery somewhere in the Netherlands. It would be cool to visit, history aside. He's one of my namesakes. I have a picture of him on my wall.

2- JUST ONE THING???? I thought my TV broke in early september so I unplugged it. I plugged it back in recently because I have been through a lot of stress and needed to relax and it worked like new. I read a lot in the intervening time, so I'm thinking about unplugging it again and forcing myself to get back to reading.

3- No, but I've heard good things about it. Eddie Murphy is hilarious!

The mysterious case of the self-healing TV. I think you would enjoy watching Coming to America, given your sense of humor.
